Bookings cancelled 24 hours or less prior to the day pf excursion will be subjected to 100% cancellation charge. In the case of little rain or wind, the booked tour will most likely not be cancelled. However, when safety is at stake, your booking can be postponed to another date. Depending on the supplier and the type of tour you have booked, you might receive a refund instead. Please have a look in our “cancellation policy” section for more information.

Our system has been designed in such a way that no other parties besides Tours Mauritius and our payment gateway company can obtain the payment information provided.

Online payment at Tours Mauritius can be done with the use of a credit care, being either MasterCard or VISA. Payment can be done in euros or dollars.

As soon as our automated system has received your booking properly, you will receive a confirmation email in your mail inbox. This confirmation email includes your name, the date and time of the excursion and the order number. Please bring this email with you at the day of the tour (a printed version is not needed).


We understand that you may not have a printer at hand when you’re traveling so it is not necessary to have a printed copy. However, we require that you show an ID matching your reservation and also the order # that is immediately emailed to you after you make your reservation. Please ensure you have the confirmation email at hand upon arrival.

The right dresscode of course depends on the type of tour you have booked. In the “remarks” section at the information page of each tour you can find information on what to wear. This also applies to what to bring with you. As Mauritius is a sunny island we advise you to always bring sunscreen, water and a cap.

The tour always consists of the activity itself and might have additional transport, which then will be mentioned clearly. When wanting to reserve extra options, the price might get higher. As this is the case, the shown prices in the tours overview are the starting prices. No additional reservation fees will need to be paid.


At our website we do offer private day tours. These tours come with a private car with driver to show you around the island. Some tours are labelled with exclusivity, which then is mentioned in the information about that specific tour. Sometimes there is the option to turn a tour on shared basis into a private tour. Please contact us for more information.

Yes. Reservations are required for guaranteed spots on all tours. Reservations help us determine the number of guides we need to ensure that our groups remain manageable and enjoyable, and they allow us to notify you of changes to the tour due to weather or anything that could disturb the tours.

Depending on the tour you have booked, transport might be included. If this is the case, it will be clearly stated in the information on that tour. We do offer car rental and can arrange for transport against additional payment.
